Animal Communication & Holistic Animal Wellness
Animal Communication & Holistic Animal Wellness
More Than a Conversation
Your animal is more than their behavior, their symptoms, or the questions you want answered. They are a whole being—with physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual needs.
That's why my work goes beyond traditional Animal Communication.
I combine intuitive communication with energy work, chakra assessment, Reiki, and holistic wellness support to help you better understand what your animal is communicating while also exploring what may be happening beneath the surface.
Sometimes that means discovering why a behavior has suddenly changed. Sometimes an animal wants to share how they're feeling, what they need, or how they're experiencing a transition. Sometimes we're supporting illness, anxiety, aging, a new family dynamic, or end-of-life decisions. And sometimes you simply want to know your animal on a deeper level.
Rather than approaching these as separate services, I look at the whole animal and allow the session to unfold based on what they communicate and what they need.
Why Book a Session?
You don't have to wait until something is wrong to communicate with your animal. Some of the most meaningful sessions simply come from wanting to understand them more deeply.
But Animal Communication can also be incredibly helpful when something has changed and you're struggling to understand why.
You may want to book a session if:
Their behavior has changed.
Anxiety, withdrawal, aggression, marking, changes in routine, or behavior that seems to come out of nowhere may be your animal's way of communicating that something feels different.
You're navigating a health concern.
Communication can give your animal an opportunity to share how they're feeling, what they're experiencing, and what seems comfortable or uncomfortable. While Animal Communication never replaces veterinary care, what your animal shares may give you additional observations or questions to discuss with their veterinarian.
Something in their world is changing.
A move, new baby, new animal, travel, fostering, rehoming, changes in routine, or the loss of another family member can affect animals deeply. Communication allows us to explain what is happening while also hearing how they're experiencing the change.
You're facing aging or end-of-life decisions.
These can be some of the hardest conversations we ever have with our animals. Communication can create space to hear what they're experiencing, what they want you to know, and what feels important to them during this stage of their life.
Your animal has passed.
Our relationship with an animal doesn't simply disappear when they leave their physical body. A session with an animal in spirit can offer an opportunity to reconnect, ask questions, receive their messages, and explore things you may still be carrying from their passing.
You want to understand what they need.
Sometimes you simply know your animal is trying to tell you something. Communication can help you better understand their preferences, relationships, emotional needs, routines, environment, and the things that matter to them.
You want to know them on a deeper level.
What makes them happy? What do they love about your life together? How do they see you? Why did they come into your life? What would they like more—or less—of? Some of my favorite conversations happen when there isn't a problem to solve at all.
Animal Communication gives your animal a voice in the conversation—and gives you an opportunity to experience your relationship with them from an entirely different perspective.
Which Session Should I Book?
New Client + Living Animal
60-Minute Animal Communication + Holistic Wellness Session
This is not simply an hour of asking your animal questions. Your session actually begins before we ever meet.
Before Your Appointment
I connect intuitively with your animal prior to our scheduled session. This allows me to introduce myself, become familiar with their energy, and begin establishing the connection before we meet. It also gives your animal an opportunity to become familiar with me rather than beginning our session as complete strangers.
During Your 60-Minute Session
We'll communicate directly with your animal and explore the questions, concerns, or circumstances that brought you to me. But I don't stop at communication. I'm also paying attention to what I'm sensing emotionally and energetically and looking at your animal as a whole being.
Depending on your animal's individual needs, our work may include:
Direct Animal Communication
Chakra and energetic assessment
Reiki and energy balancing
Emotional and behavioral exploration
Support surrounding anxiety, stress, trauma, illness, aging, or transitions
Holistic wellness observations and recommendations
Crystals, sound, herbs, essential oils, or other supportive modalities when appropriate
Practical ways you can continue supporting your animal at home
No two sessions are exactly alike. I follow your animal's communication, energy, and individual needs rather than using the same formula with every animal.
After Your Appointment
My work doesn't end when our Zoom call does.
I spend additional time reviewing and integrating what came through during your session and create a personalized written follow-up for you. This may include your animal's messages, energetic and chakra observations, holistic recommendations, supportive resources, and practical next steps.
This is created specifically for you and your animal—not an automated transcript or generic summary.
24-Hour Continued Connection
I keep the intuitive connection with your animal open for 24 hours following your session.
I know that once you've had time to process everything we discussed, you may realize there was something you forgot to ask or need clarification about something that came through. You can reach out during that 24-hour period with a session-related follow-up, and I can reconnect with your animal if needed.
Your appointment is much more than the 60 minutes we spend together. It includes the connection and preparation beforehand, our time together, the holistic and energetic work, my personalized follow-up afterward, and continued access to the connection for the following 24 hours.
Animal in Spirit
30-Minute Animal Communication Session
If your animal has passed, you don't need the comprehensive 60-minute holistic wellness session.
I still connect with your animal before we meet so I can establish the connection prior to our appointment. During our session, we'll have dedicated time to hear what they want to share, ask your questions, and explore anything that feels important or unfinished.
Communication may include messages about their passing, your life together, other animals or family members, signs or experiences you've had since their passing, and anything they want you to know now.
You'll receive a written follow-up after your session, and I keep the connection open for 24 hours should a session-related question arise after you've had time to process your experience.
This session is available to both new and returning clients.
Returning Clients
Once I've worked with you and your animal, you don't always need another comprehensive 60-minute session.
30-Minute Animal Communication Follow-Up
For established clients who want to reconnect, explore a new situation, ask several questions, or follow up on something we've previously discussed.
15-Minute Animal Communication Check-In
For established clients who have one specific topic or 1–2 questions for an animal I've previously worked with.
These shorter sessions focus primarily on communication and do not include the comprehensive chakra assessment, energy work, holistic wellness evaluation, or extensive personalized recommendations included in your initial 60-minute session.
Beyond Communication: Supporting the Whole Animal
Sometimes what an animal says is only one part of the story.
During a session, I'm also paying attention to your animal's energy. I may notice areas that feel depleted, overactive, heavy, guarded, or simply different from the rest of their energetic system. This is where my training in Animal Reiki, energy healing, and chakra balancing becomes another layer of our work together.
Animals have an energetic system just as humans do, including the seven major chakras we commonly associate with people as well as the brachial chakra—an energy center unique to animals that is closely associated with their connection and interaction with humans.
When appropriate, I may incorporate Reiki, chakra balancing, crystals, sound, or other energetic tools to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being.
I don't automatically perform every modality on every animal. Your animal is part of the decision. I continually communicate with them, ask permission before introducing energy work or other tools, and allow their responses to guide what we do.
That's an important part of my philosophy: I don't believe healing work should simply be done to an animal. I believe they should have a voice in how they are supported.
You Are Part of Their World, Too
Our animals don't live separately from us. They share our homes, routines, relationships, transitions, celebrations, stress, grief, and everyday lives.
And they notice far more than we sometimes realize.
That's why when I'm exploring what may be happening with an animal, I don't look at them in isolation. Sometimes what comes through has very little to do with the animal themselves and much more to do with something happening around them.
They may be responding to tension within the home, a change in routine, another animal, a move, a loss, a relationship shift, or the emotional state of someone they are deeply connected to.
That doesn't mean you are causing your animal's anxiety, behavior, or health concerns.
It simply means you are part of one another's world.
Sometimes supporting an animal means helping them directly. Sometimes it means changing something in their environment. And sometimes an animal points our attention toward something happening within us.
I approach these moments without judgment. Animal Communication isn't about finding someone to blame. It's about becoming curious about what your animal is experiencing and listening to what they may be asking us to notice.
What You Can Expect When Working With Me
I want you—and your animal—to feel supported throughout the entire experience. That's why my sessions extend beyond the time we spend together on Zoom.
Before We Meet: I Connect With Your Animal
Your session begins before your scheduled appointment.
Using the photo you provide, I connect intuitively with your animal before we meet. I introduce myself, ask permission to connect, and allow them to become familiar with my energy.
I may also begin receiving initial impressions or information that becomes part of our conversation when we meet.
During Your Session: We Have a Conversation
Our session is interactive. You'll be there with me as I communicate with your animal, ask your questions, share what I'm receiving, and explore anything your animal brings forward.
With living animals, I'm also paying attention to their emotional and energetic state. During comprehensive sessions, I may incorporate chakra assessment, Reiki, energy balancing, and holistic support depending on what your animal needs and is receptive to.
Your animal always has a voice in the process. I ask permission, check in with them throughout our work, and respect their boundaries.
After Your Session: I Integrate What Came Through
Once our appointment ends, my work continues.
I spend additional time reviewing the session, connecting the different pieces, researching when appropriate, and creating a personalized written follow-up for you.
Depending on your session, this may include important messages from your animal, energetic observations, holistic recommendations, supportive practices, resources, and practical next steps.
This isn't an automated transcript or generic recap. It is personally created for you and your animal.
For the Next 24 Hours: The Connection Remains Open
Sometimes the question you wish you'd asked doesn't occur to you until later.
I keep my intuitive connection with your animal open for 24 hours following our session. If you realize you forgot something important or need clarification about something that came through during our appointment, you can reach out during that window.
I want you to have time to process the experience without feeling as though the connection disappeared the moment our appointment ended.
A Conversation, Not a Test
Animal Communication works best when we approach it with curiosity rather than treating it as a test of intuitive ability.
Your animal may absolutely share details that you immediately recognize—personalities, preferences, experiences, relationships, routines, memories, or things I couldn't otherwise know. Those moments can be wonderful validation.
But validation isn't the purpose of the session.
My role isn't to ask your animal to prove that I'm communicating with them. My role is to listen.
Sometimes an animal shares something you understand immediately. Other times, something doesn't make sense until later. And occasionally, they may offer a perspective that's completely different from what you expected.
I encourage you to come with your questions while also leaving room for your animal to have their own voice in the conversation.
After all, the most meaningful message may not be the one you expected to hear.
Preparing for Your Session
You don't need to do anything elaborate before an Animal Communication session, but a little preparation can help you get the most from our time together.
Tell Your Animal We're Meeting
A few days before your appointment, simply tell your animal about it.
You can speak out loud or communicate quietly with them. Let them know you've scheduled someone to connect with them, why you booked the session, and anything you're hoping to better understand.
Even if your animal is deaf, speak to them. Communication is about much more than hearing words.
Write Down Your Questions
Sessions can bring up a lot of emotions and information, and it's surprisingly easy to forget something you wanted to ask.
Write your questions down beforehand and have them nearby during our appointment.
You don't need to script the entire conversation. Your questions give us a place to begin while still leaving room for your animal to bring forward what's important to them.
Send a Clear, Recent Photo
Please provide a recent photo where your animal's face and eyes are clearly visible.
I use this photo to connect with your animal prior to our appointment, so please send it according to the instructions provided when you book.
You Don't Need to Have Your Animal Beside You
Your animal does not need to sit quietly next to you, look at the camera, or "participate" in any particular way.
They can sleep, wander around, play, stay in another room, or go about their normal routine. Animal Communication doesn't require your animal to physically interact with the computer or phone.
Bring an Open Mind
Come with your questions, but also come willing to listen.
Your animal may have their own thoughts about what matters most, and sometimes those unexpected parts of the conversation become the most meaningful.
Animal Communication Complements Veterinary Care
Animal Communication, Reiki, energy work, and holistic wellness support are complementary practices and are not substitutes for veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
If information comes through regarding your animal's physical health, I may encourage you to share those observations with your veterinarian or another qualified animal health professional.
In Home Animal Communication and Energy Healing
For animals who would benefit from hands-on energetic support, I also offer a limited number of in-home sessions.
These sessions allow me to work with your animal in their own environment while combining Animal Communication with Reiki, chakra balancing, energy work, and other supportive modalities.
Your animal sets the pace.
Because I've already connected with your animal intuitively before I arrive, we've had an opportunity to become familiar with one another before we ever meet face-to-face. Once I'm in their space, I give them the time they need to become comfortable with my physical presence.
Throughout the session, I continue communicating with your animal and ask permission before introducing touch, Reiki, crystals, sound, tuning forks, or other tools.
Some animals want hands-on work. Others prefer energy work from a distance. Some are fascinated by the tools I bring. Others make their preferences very clear.
I respect all of it.
What Does an In-Home Session Look Like?
One of the benefits of working with an animal in their own environment is that they get to be themselves.
There is no expectation that your animal sit still, behave a certain way, or “perform” for the session. I meet them where they are, give them time to become comfortable with me, and allow their responses to help guide our work.
In-home sessions are interactive and intuitive. I may communicate with your animal while observing their body language and energy, offer Reiki or other energetic support, and incorporate different tools based on what they're comfortable with and what seems appropriate for them.
Your animal gets to participate in the process—and sometimes they make their opinions very clear.
When an Animal Says, “My Turn”
This video is a beautiful example of why I look beyond just one animal when I'm trying to understand what's happening within a home or herd.
I was there to work with both Diego and Sammy after a new donkey had recently joined them. The new donkey was having a difficult time adjusting, and that change was affecting the dynamics around him.
What we didn't fully know at the time was just how much this new donkey had experienced. He had been rescued from a kill pen, and we later learned that he had originally been a wild donkey who had been captured and was headed for slaughter.
There was a lot for everyone to process.
I began the energy work with Diego. While I was working with him, Sammy approached on his own and made it very clear that he was ready for his turn.
So I followed his lead.
As I begin working with Sammy, watch his body closely. You'll see a distinct moment when his body shifts and relaxes—the point where I felt an energetic release occur.
This is part of what I mean when I talk about looking at the whole animal.
I'm not only listening intuitively to what an animal communicates. I'm paying attention to their energy, body language, relationships, environment, history, choices, and responses. Sometimes what's happening with one animal can't be fully understood without looking at what's happening around them.
And I don't decide ahead of time exactly how a session needs to unfold.
I listen—and let the animals help guide me.
See What This Looks Like
In the video below, you'll see me working with Remington using a therapeutic tuning fork as part of his energy and chakra work. His human reached out because he was struggling with extreme anxiety and urinating outside of the litter box.
But watch Remington, not me.
You'll see me offer the tool and give him the opportunity to investigate and respond before I continue. I'm continually paying attention to his body language while also communicating with him intuitively.
That interaction is an important part of how I work.
I don't believe holistic care should simply be performed on an animal. Whenever possible, I invite the animal into the process, respect their boundaries, and allow them to have a voice in how they're supported.
After this animal's first session, his owner shared that she noticed an increase in his overall happiness, less anxiety, and that he had stopped marking in the home.
What Happens After an In-Home Session?
Every animal is different, so I don't believe in prescribing the same schedule of sessions for everyone.
Some animals benefit from another session within a couple of weeks, particularly when we're working with long-standing energetic, emotional, or behavioral patterns. Others may not need additional support for quite some time.
I also give you practical ways to continue supporting your animal at home. Integrating these techniques between appointments can help you become an active part of your animal's ongoing care rather than feeling dependent on sessions with me.
If I feel your animal would benefit from another session, we'll discuss what I observed and determine together what makes sense for them.
Why Work With Me
I never wanted to just talk to animals.
I wanted to understand them—and help the people who love them understand them, too.
My work brings together Animal Communication, energy healing, holistic wellness, intuition, and years of experience helping people navigate complex emotions, decisions, and transitions.
I'm an Animal Communicator, Animal Reiki Master, Reiki Master, Board Certified Coach, and holistic wellness practitioner with additional training in energy healing, chakra balancing, sound healing, tuning fork therapy, crystals, aromatherapy, and intuitive development.
That allows me to approach a session from more than one perspective.
I can listen to what your animal is communicating while also paying attention to their energy, emotional experience, environment, relationship with you, and the other pieces that may be contributing to what you're seeing.
And just as importantly, I understand that there's a human on the other side of the conversation.
Sometimes these sessions are joyful and funny. Sometimes they're surprising. And sometimes we're talking about illness, grief, guilt, difficult decisions, or saying goodbye to someone you love deeply.
My role is to create a space where both you and your animal can be heard, where we can become curious about what's happening without judgment, and where you leave with a deeper understanding of your animal and practical ways to continue supporting them.
Because Animal Communication isn't just about hearing what your animal has to say.
It's about what becomes possible in your relationship once you begin listening.

I have a sweet 9 yr old male orange tabby named Remington he’s been peeing in the house where he shouldn’t be. Out of desperateness after being to the vet several times I looked up animal, communicator near me, and Julie popped up.I was so happy I had one in my local area, to find her was delightful, and after meeting her and having her work on my cat delightful is an understatement.
She was patient, she brought tools, she had ideas I’ve never thought of. The use of crystals and tuning forks and other existing tools, we are finally on the right track for him. He was very responsive to her energy and was VERY calm for days after she worked on him.
She’s very caring and considerate and has a lots of wonderful ideas on how to help your animals energetically, things you don’t normally think of. I’m very excited to implement some of those modalities and see what we can do for this little guy. I will be having her come over and read the rest of my animals, and I also will be taking some of her classes. She is a very lovely and caring person. We are VERY HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND HER!!!!

I reached out to Julie in a panic because my senior cat, Kitty, was in bad shape, so much so that I had scheduled an at home euthanasia for the following day. Julie reassured me [multiple times] it was not her time yet and to take care of myself and ground myself because my cat could pick up on my stress. She suggested a number of things to tools to assist in my cats recovery. Before the night ended I could see small improvements. By the next morning my cat was walking around as if nothing had ever even happened. It was just a big peace of mind hearing Julie tell me it was not her time to go, yet. It was sweet of her to check in the following day, as well. I'm definitely thankful I had reached out, and I'm positive Kitty was, too.

Julie is AMAZING! She was very spot on with her messages about me and my dogs. I am very pleased with how the reiki and animal communication session went. She is such a lovely person, as is her home and her amazing office. She is very skilled; I have been to reiki healers before and used some virtual healers in the past also. She has tools and helpful resources and does a follow up post appointment email with summary notes and links to helpful things to continue (education/training).
I send my family and best friends to see her. I definitely got my money’s worth and then some. She answered all of my questions and informed me of much more than I even knew I wanted to know. She put my mind at ease about A LOT of negative issues and thoughts I’ve been experiencing and for the first time in a long time, I am actually excited for my future and not dreading it. Thank you, Julie!

Julie's great! I did a quick 10 minute animal session for my kitty who was howling non stop. She was able to tell me it wasn't because he needed to be outside, he just needed some mental stimuli and quality time. Simple, but the insight really helped because I was getting the impression he was sick of me and really wanted to be a stray again. Now we birdwatch and watch cat TV together and our relationship is a lot better.
Julie has such great vibes, very easy to talk to and offered a lot of tools and advice for me. She was also able to identify and validate some things on my own self. Even if you're skeptical, her short sessions are accessible and a great intro to her style (: I'll be booking again next time I'm looking for intuitive insight.-Mikala H. I was referred to Julie when I really needed guidance with my sweet sick kitty. Julie connected with him and was able to share important insight that helped me determine the approach for his future care.
After a number of months battling cancer, my kitty was close to the end - I reached out to Julie again for more guidance as I didn’t want him to suffer. Julie gave me such comfort as I knew what I needed to do for him. She was so connected to me and to him, that she helped me understand one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make.
I would recommend her to anyone who is trying to understand what their pet is going through! She was amazing!

When booking a session please note that animals have free will, just as we do, and may not always cooperate or want to communicate at first. It’s also important to know that they may also say something which you may not want to hear.
