Meet Julie

A compassionate empath and nurturing soul who has always been drawn to teaching and supporting others. From an early age, she felt a deep calling to become a spiritual healer and establish a profound connection with her inner divine wisdom, which she identifies as Source or Love.

Although Julie initially struggled to embrace her healing abilities due to societal judgment and her religious upbringing, her passion to fully embody her innate gifts never wavered. Today, she wholeheartedly utilizes her unique talents and gifts to support individuals in achieving balance and transformation in all aspects of their lives, by providing nourishment for the mind, body, and spirit.

Before embarking on a transformative five-year quest to uncover her life's purpose, Julie served as a teacher at both high school and college levels. With over 25 years of experience in education across private and public sectors, she holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from Western Michigan University.

Julie eventually realized that teaching within the confines of the traditional school system was merely a temporary solution, preventing her from fully embracing her soul's true calling. Faced with a crossroad, she had to confront her fears and make a choice: play it safe and remain in the comfort of the familiar or courageously follow her intuition and embark on a journey aligned with her soul's purpose. She fearlessly chose the latter and obtained her Life Coaching Certification from the accredited Institute of Life Coaching in 2021, earning her BCC (Board Certified Coach) credential for Life Coaching in May of 2022 and her BCC (Board Certified Coach) credential in Health and Wellness Coaching in December of 2023.

Julie's unwavering dedication to her path and her commitment to helping others make her a beacon of inspiration and transformation.

The Beginning

Julie's journey began in a small town in Michigan, where she spent cherished summers with her parents at "The Lake." As an only child, she developed a deep connection to astrology, spirituality, and a fascination with divine communication. Her vivid and detailed dreams, along with her strong affinity for animals, were the early signs of her unique gifts.

However, during her senior year in high school, Julie experienced a turning point. Invited to a Non-Denominational Christian church by a friend, she embraced Christianity in 1993, hoping it would heal her feelings of unworthiness and shame stemming from a traumatic experience of date rape and an abortion. It was during this time that she was taught to view her natural gifts and talents as "wrong" and "evil." In her desire to be accepted and worthy, Julie learned to mask and suppress her innate abilities for the next two decades within the confines of Christianity.

In 2012, after giving birth to her fourth child, Julie reached a breaking point. Overwhelmed by the demands of trying to fulfill the never-ending expectations of her faith, coupled with the challenges of raising a neurodiverse family of six and homeschooling not only her own children but also those in the Homeschool Co-Op she had established, she found herself sinking into depression. Recognizing the severity of her situation, she reached out to her church leaders for support, only to be met with blame and the suggestion that her depression was a result of her lack of faith.

This experience became the catalyst for Julie's awakening. She realized that the path she had been following was no longer serving her well-being and growth. It was time to embrace her authentic self and reclaim her suppressed gifts and talents. Julie embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, breaking free from the limitations that had held her back for so long.

The Catalyst

Driven by a thirst for truth, Julie embarked on a personal study of Christianity and the Bible as a historical text. For the next two years, she immersed herself in research, delving into the original languages and meanings of biblical words and verses. As she uncovered discrepancies between her findings and the teachings of her church, Julie shared her discoveries with her husband. Together, they realized that their evolving beliefs no longer aligned with the doctrings being taught.

During this transformative period, Julie allowed her suppressed gifts to resurface, embracing the church-approved title of the prophetic. She and her husband traveled to various countries and states, teaching and delivering prophetic words to thousands of people. These experiences sparked a renewed sense of vitality within Julie, connecting her with her soul’s yearning to embrace her life’s purpose fully.

In 2014, Julie and her husband courageously began questioning the pastoral staff about the discrepancies they had discovered. As they witnessed hostile reactions and experienced religious trauma, it became evident that their beliefs no longer aligned with their church community so they made the brave decision to leave. This marked a profound turning point in Julie’s life as she stepped away from the remnants of her past and embraced a new path of authenticity and personal growth.

A Fresh Start

Julie’s relocation to Virginia in 2018, accompanied by her husband and four children, symbolized a fresh start and a departure from the person she no longer recognized herself to be. She continued her exploration of spirituality and religions, dedicating herself to assessing and evaluating her own truths. She listened to her intuition, allowing it to guide her even when it seemed illogical, and fearlessly embraced her unique gifts without any sense of condemnation. In doing so, she discovered a profound sense of empowerment and authenticity.

Driven by a deep desire to uplift and empower others, Julie pursued her Life Coaching degree at The Institute of Life Coaching in September of 2019. She completed her studies in February 2021 and obtained her Board Certified Coaching credentials in May of 2022. Now fully embracing her gifts and wisdom, Julie is passionate about helping individuals tap into their own intuition and divine wisdom, believing that everyone deserves to live authentically and with unconditional love.

Today, Julie resides in Haymarket, Virginia, alongside her loving husband, four remarkable children and two rescue pups. She advocates for women’s rights, animal welfare, and supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Julie’s healing work often involves her two-year-old rescue lab, Magnolia May, training as an emotional support animal to enhance the transformative experiences she offers. She finds solace in nature, spending time on her back deck reading, using oracle cards, playing her forest flutes, and embracing the beauty surrounding her.

Julie feels deeply honored to utilize her personal journey and the wisdom gained from her experiences to support others who are navigating similar paths. With a firm belief in equality, acceptance, women empowering one another, authenticity, and above all, unconditional love, she continues to inspire and guide others towards their own awakening and transformation.
