Have you ever found yourself staring into a candle flame and completely losing track of time?
There's something mesmerizing about fire.
For centuries, candles have been lit to mark meaningful moments, carry prayers and intentions, create sacred space, and bring focus to what we hope to invite into our lives.
But candle magic is about more than simply lighting a candle and making a wish.
It's the intention behind it. The preparation. The symbolism. The ritual.
Join us for an evening of Candle Magic, where we'll explore how herbs, anointing oils, candle colors, and intention can be woven together to create a candle ritual that is personal to you.
You'll choose the intention you want to work with and learn how to prepare, anoint, and dress your candle using herbs and oils selected to support its purpose.
And then we'll explore one of my favorite parts…
The language of the flame.
What does it mean when a flame burns high and strong? Flickers wildly? Struggles to stay lit?
What about the smoke or the way your candle burns?
We'll explore the traditional symbolism associated with candle flames and smoke and how these signs have been used as an invitation to observe, reflect, and listen more deeply.
