This Is More Than a Traditional Reiki Certification Class
You can learn the history of Reiki. You can memorize hand positions. You can receive an attunement and leave with a certificate.
But knowing Reiki and feeling confident actually working with energy are two very different things.
That's where this training is different.
This Reiki training is designed to give you a much broader understanding of energy itself—how to recognize it, sense it, assess it, work with it, and begin trusting what you're experiencing.
You'll receive the traditional teachings, techniques, and attunements of Usui Reiki, but Reiki won't be taught in isolation.
Throughout the weekend, Julie draws from her extensive background in Reiki, intuitive development, chakra balancing, sound healing, tuning forks, crystals, pendulum work, aromatherapy, and other energetic practices to help you explore energy from multiple perspectives.
You'll learn about the chakra system—and then practice assessing it.
You'll learn about crystals—and actually work with them.
You'll explore sound and vibration as energetic tools rather than simply hearing about them.
You'll practice sensing energy, explore grounding and energetic boundaries, and begin noticing the different ways you personally receive energetic information.
Most importantly, you'll practice.
This is not a weekend spent sitting and listening to someone talk about Reiki. It is experiential, interactive, and intentionally designed to give you opportunities to work with what you're learning.
Why Julie's Training Is Different
Julie brings together two decades of experience as an educator and coach with extensive training and experience across multiple energy-healing modalities.
That combination shapes the way this weekend is taught.
The goal isn't simply to give you information. It's to help you understand it, experience it, practice it, ask questions about it, and discover how it works for you.
There isn't one "right" way you should experience energy.
Some people feel heat or tingling. Some see colors or images. Some simply know something has shifted. Others notice very little at first and develop their sensitivity through practice.
You won't be expected to have a dramatic experience or compare what you're sensing with anyone else.
Instead, you'll be encouraged to become curious about your own energetic language and begin building trust in yourself.
You do not need to consider yourself intuitive. And you do not need any previous experience with energy healing to begin Reiki Level I.
Reiki Level I — Building Your Foundation
Reiki Level I introduces the foundations of Usui Reiki while helping you begin developing your own relationship with energy.
You'll explore:
• The history and principles of Usui Reiki
• Understanding energy and the human energy field
• The chakra system
• Sensing and recognizing energy
• Reiki hand positions and techniques
• Self-Reiki and developing a personal Reiki practice
• Offering Reiki to others
• Energetic grounding and boundaries
• Pendulum work and energetic assessment
• Crystals and energy healing
• Sound and vibration as energetic tools
• Essential oils and energy practices
• Intuition and recognizing how you receive energetic information
• Hands-on Reiki practice
Reiki I students receive their Usui Reiki Level I attunement and certification.

Your training includes resources and tools intentionally selected so that you can continue exploring and practicing what you've learned after the weekend ends.

Joining Us Online?
Live online students receive a Reiki Training Kit mailed directly to them with the physical tools they'll use during the weekend, including crystals, a pendulum, cleansing herbs, and other selected materials.
The comprehensive Reiki training manual and appropriate reference materials will be provided digitally, allowing you to follow along throughout the weekend and keep them as resources afterward.
Please register early enough to allow your training kit to arrive before October 17.
Reiki Level II — Deepening Your Practice
Reiki Level II builds upon your foundation and expands the ways you can intentionally work with Reiki energy.
You'll explore:
• The Usui Reiki Level II symbols
• The meaning and application of each symbol
• Working intentionally with Reiki symbols
• Distance Reiki
• Advanced Reiki techniques
• Supporting emotional and energetic well-being
• Deepening energetic awareness
• Integrating intuition with Reiki
• Additional energy and sound healing techniques
• Practical application and Reiki practice
• Developing confidence in your own Reiki practice
Reiki II students receive their Usui Reiki Level II attunement and certification.

Join Julie at Alyn Wellness in The Plains, Virginia for an intimate weekend of learning, exploration, practice, and attunements.
Space is intentionally limited so students have opportunities to ask questions, receive guidance, and actually practice what they're learning.

Not local? You can still be part of the experience.
Join the training LIVE via Zoom and participate alongside the in-person students.
This is not a prerecorded course or a weekend of watching videos on your own. You'll participate in the teaching, discussions, exercises, practice, and attunements in real time.
Your Reiki Training Kit will be mailed to you beforehand so that when we're working with crystals, pendulums, energetic assessment, and other tools in the room, you can work right alongside us from home.
Reiki Doesn't Have to Become Your Profession
Some students learn Reiki because they want to eventually work professionally with clients.
Others want Reiki for themselves.
You may want a way to support your own energetic and spiritual well-being. You may want to use Reiki with your family or animals. You may already work in wellness, coaching, bodywork, or another healing profession and want another modality to complement what you do.
Or you may simply feel drawn to energy work and want to understand it more deeply.
You don't need to know where Reiki will lead you before you begin.
The purpose of this weekend is to give you the foundation, tools, experience, and confidence to begin discovering that for yourself.
